Wednesday May 9th, 2012: Angeles Capital’s CEO, Bill Battison recently moderated a Panel Presentation at the Century City Chamber of Commerce entitled “Show Me the Money” for the second annual occasion of this event. Last year Bill was a panelist and was asked to be the moderator for 2012.

The distinguished panel included:
• Rod Banks, Executive Vice President and head of Commercial Banking Services of City National Bank
• Ryan Berschneider, Vice President at Clear Capital Advisors.
• Dru Garcia-Richardson Sr., Vice President of Manufacturer’s Bank
• David Misch, CEO of The Private Bank of California
• Anant Patel, a Partner at the pubic accounting firm of Green Hasson Janks

The panel focused on issues such as how the landscape for commercial banking has changed over the last few years; what to look for in a commercial banker; are bankers really lending money now; what do you need to do to improve your chances with your bank and when is private equity a reasonable alternative. The incredible depth of experience on the part of the panel made for a very interesting and informative session. After about an hour of presentations directed by Mr. Battison, he opened the panel to questions from audience and received a great deal of response from the attendees.
